Don't let the current pandemic ruin your celebration plans. Now is the time to think outside of the box and get creative!

First Become Optimistic
With the unforeseen circumstances around the world, we have seen every non-essential business come to an halt and unfortunately all celebrations as well. It's easy to become disappointed and depressed especially if you had been planning for your wedding day over a year ago or planning a surprise birthday party months ago with distant relatives. If we take a moment and remember our history class lessons, we know that the world has seen it's share of plagues. But what makes us different from our ancestors? TECHNOLOGY! With social media keeping us connected to the world and distant family members, we can still celebrate our special events all while still social distancing.
Get Creative With Social Media
Hopefully by now you have joined the billions of social media goers online while we all try to find ways to entertain ourselves while being in the house. Now is the time to get creative with social media and still make the most out of your special event. Were you determine to get married on a particular date with this year in mind being that it is "2020"? If your quarantine with your significant other and already have your marriage license (or check your state guidelines) why not say your vows with your pastor on video call and go "Live" on Facebook and let the world join in. I know, not the most romantic idea but you get to keep your date and celebrate at a later time with family and friends.
Was the surprise birthday party for your Aunt cancelled? Have all your family & friends that were supposed to be in attendance each make a short video that you can collaborate together and send it to her. Also in messager on Facebook it allows you to video chat up to 50 people. You can still make it fun by asking everyone to share a virtual toast with you or the person you are celebrating.
Online Shopping At Your Finger Tips
With the fear of shopping in stores beyond essential needs, we are lucky to have online shopping at our finger tips. With countless stores turning to there online inventory, if you forgot a gift then that is the perfect way to get one. Even certain stores will deliver or let you pickup after they have gathered the things you need. If you have a little one but still want to celebrate their birthday, because of course their not on social media, then get creative and order your online birthday decorations to decorate their room or the whole house. Remember kids at young ages are more visual and would still be excited seeing their room or the whole house transform for their special day. Let them have fun at making their own cake. You would be surprised at how you can find countless cake toppers on line to match their favorite cartoon character.
Remember, don't let this current situation ruin your special day. Get creative!
